George Clooney revealed he almost threw a hip out while proposing to wife Amal Clooney.
The 54-year-old actor recalled his 2014 proposal to the human rights lawyer on an interview with Charlie Rose for CBS This Morning, admitting it was "completely unexpected".
"When I asked her, you know, we'd never talked about it....there wasn't like a, 'Maybe we should get married' [conversation]. I dropped it on her," the Tomorrowland star revealed.

The Oscar-winning actor also went on to discuss how he popped the question, which was at his home while a playlist of his aunt Rosemary Clooney's songs played in the background.
George admitted he definitely caught Amal off guard, causing her to take a little longer than expected to respond.
He said: "I asked her, and she just kept saying, 'Oh my, God,' and 'Wow,' and we just sat there.

"And finally, I just said, 'Listen, I'm 53 at the time, or 52 at the time, I think [he proposed prior to his birthday last year, so he was indeed 52]. I said, 'I've been on my knee for about 28 minutes so I gotta get an answer out of this because I'm gonna throw a hip out!"
George proposed to Amal after only seven months of dating. The couple tied the knot on September 27, 2014.
