The Genius Wendy's Frosty Trick We Need to Try ASAP
I’ll admit it: I’m not the biggest fan of ice cream. And every time I make that admission, it shocks people.
Don’t get me wrong—it’s fine, but it’s not my go-to dessert. A good ice cream float, though? Now, that’s a different story. There’s just something about the combination of fizzy soda and creamy goodness that feels lighter and more exciting than plain old ice cream to me. Floats are bubbly and refreshing, and they don't leave me feeling like I need a huge glass of water to wash them down.
My dislike of ice cream is generally why I don't order a Wendy's Frosty. I've had them, sure, and they're pretty good, but I have had a few moments where I thought "This could be better" as I was enjoying one.
And I just ran across a genius way to do just that. With a little creativity and insider know-how, you can transform your Frosty into a fizzy float—a treat that's as fun as it is delicious.
Food site Mouth Attack just shared a great idea for making a Frosty better, and I think I have to give it a try ASAP!

How to Order a Frosty Float
To make a Frosty float, order your favorite Frosty flavor and the soda of your choice but make sure you ask for both to be half full unless you prefer more Frosty or more soda in your float. Then, you pour the soda over your Frosty and mix it, if you prefer. If you want a creamier float, add more Frosty to your float. Add more soda for extra fizz. You can ask the cashier if they can mix it for you, but not all locations will accommodate your request, so be prepared to do it yourself.

Frosty Float Flavor Combinations
Crafting your perfect Wendy’s Frosty float is all about experimenting with flavors that excite your taste buds. Go bold with an orange Fanta and a vanilla Frosty for a creamsicle-inspired delight. For something richer, pair Dr. Pepper with a chocolate Frosty. What about a vanilla Frosty with a splash of ginger ale? The spicy-sweet combo might surprise you!
Seasonal Frosty flavors like Pumpkin Spice or Salted Caramel open up even more creative options. I'd love a Salted Caramel Frosty mixed with a Vanilla Coke!
I'm a coffee lover, and if you are, too, you can add some hot coffee to turn your Frosty into a creamy affogato-style dessert (which is a favorite of mine).
I love that you can mix and match flavors to suit your mood, and I plan to give this dessert a try right away!
