How to Order Cheesy Garlic Bread at Subway
According to a post shared to the /Subway reddit thread, it's a simple ordering request that most locations will happily honor. To order cheesy garlic bread, order a 6-inch Italian herb bread with 3 passes of garlic aioli spread on both pieces of bread topped with black pepper, oregano, salt and shredded cheese. Then, ask to have it toasted.

This combination of ingredients will give you a perfectly toasted, perfectly buttery and ultra-cheesy piece of garlic bread, which makes a fun appetizer (maybe with a side of marinara sauce or ranch) or you can load it up with your favorite meats, vegetables and condiments. We think an Italian BMT on cheesy garlic bread would be delicious.
If you're not in the mood for garlic bread, we think a swipe of regular mayo on honey oat or wheat bread topped with cheddar and toasted would also make a nice snack or a tasty base for a ham, turkey sub or veggie sub.

What People Are Saying About the Subway Cheesy Garlic Bread Hack
“Garlic aioli and house dressing works really well for this too,” one commenter wrote in response to user XLandonSkywolfX’s post online.
And if you’d like a slight alternative to the cheesy garlic bread creation, another user on Reddit added this: “Add olive oil and oregano to the bread, add double provolone on the top and bottom slice, then toast with either ‘Steak 2’ or ‘Heat Toast Garlic Bread.’ Afterwards, add some parmesan and get a side of marinara sauce from the meatballs to dip it in.” If the toast settings sound foreign to you, don’t worry, they sound just the same to us. This is where you’ll have to put complete trust in your local Subway employee.
With this ordering hack, you can feed your inner garlic girl at your favorite sub shop. We love efficiency!
