Gen Z earning $45,000 a month reveals accountant's surprising advice: 'Stupid'
Amelia Lynne got a shock when she asked her accountant if she should quit OnlyFans to pursue a career in finance.
An OnlyFans creator has shared the surprising thing her accountant said to her after she asked him if she should pursue a 'normal' career, with her accountant, aged in his 50s, giving her some upfront advice about investing in her future.
Amelia Lynne, 19, texted her accountant saying she was contemplating a career in finance over OnlyFans but was surprised when he got back to her and told her it would be a "stupid" move and to stick to sex work and invest in her future.
"I texted my accountant asking if I should ditch sex work and pursue a normal career and he called me yelling on the phone saying sex workers are making millions and I have that opportunity to do that too - and it won't be in a finance career," Amelia told Yahoo Lifestyle.

The accountant went on to tell her to "learn the algorithm" and continue to bring in a steady income, with Amelia earning anywhere between $25,000 - $45,000 per month.
"He advised me to drop out of college and learn as much as I can about the social media algorithms," Amelia told Yahoo Lifestyle. "He told me to take it seriously like any other job and to attend networking events with creators. The experience I learned can transfer into ultimately any industry as a marketer or social media manager."

Amelia said one of the hardest parts of being an OnlyFans creator is the judgement that can still come with the content-creating profession."If I become a doctor and make $200k a year people will applaud me and think of me highly. But because I chose a job where I show my tits online and made 200k a year at 18, people say I didn’t work hard enough," she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
"Some things are harder than others for sure. Being an OF girl is nowhere near as hard as being a doctor or lawyer. However, I have still had days where I didn’t sleep because I was working, I have lots of early mornings and late nights and almost no days off," Amelia continued. "But no matter how hard I work or how much money I earn, people will always tell me to get a real job and I am wasting my future."

Amelia said she plans to do OnlyFans until she's 30, and is currently getting her degree in economics.
"Ideally, I want to ride it out for as long as I can, but I do believe in monogamous relationships and want to eventually settle down. I hope to continue to open a social media agency for sex workers," she said.
