French First Lady Brigitte Macron Puts Vibrant Twist on Political Party Colors Alongside President Emmanuel Macron for Election Voting in France

First Lady of France Brigitte Macron was seen leaving a voting station in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage on Sunday alongside her husband, President Emmanuel Macron, during the country’s second round of legislative elections. The couple put on a united front, while Brigitte fashioned a monochrome look.

For the occasion, Brigitte Macron favored a tailored suit ensemble. The first lady of France wore a monochrome blue suit with tailored trousers, a single-breasted blazer and coordinated button-down shirt all in the same shade of blue — a vibrant variation of the colors of Emmanuel Macron’s Renaissance political party as well as one of the hues in the country’s flag.

Brigitte Macron also coordinated her shoes with her ensemble, wearing a pair of pointed-toe patent leather sapphire heels to go along with her look. France’s first lady added a few pieces of dainty jewelry and completed her look with a pair of sunglasses.

President Macron opted for a refined ensemble, as well. France’s president wore a tailored suit complete with white button-down shirt, dark tie and double-breasted blazer. Macron also wore a pin on the lapel of his blazer.

Monochrome dressing is a trend the first lady of France has followed as of late. During Queen Rania and King Abdullah II of Jordan’s visit to France on June 24, Brigitte Macron fashioned a monochrome white skirt suit that included a double-breasted blazer and exaggerated collar.

Brigitte Macron also matched her pointed-toe heels to her sleek apparel for the occasion. For the 80th anniversary of D-Day on June 6, she fashioned another monochrome white look. France’s first lady opted for a long-sleeve white coatdress with large exposed buttons and a defined belted waist.

Her look coordinated with Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom’s ensemble. The queen consort wore a midi dress by Anna Valentine with detailing on the lapels of the collar and running down the sides of her long sleeves. The monochrome motif is an essential style choice when it comes to Brigitte Macron’s wardrobe. With its timeless quality and versatility, it’s a style France’s first lady will likely continue to fashion.
