Fox’s ‘The Cleaning Lady’ Adds Daniel Bonjour & Alain Uy
EXCLUSIVE: FOX’s The Cleaning Lady has added Daniel Bonjour and Alain Uy to its recurring cast for Season 4.
The series follows Thony De La Rosa (Élodie Yung), a Cambodian-Filipino former surgeon who makes a living as a cleaning service worker alongside her sister-in-law, Fiona (Martha Millan). After witnessing a murder, Thony is offered a job both as a cleaner and a doctor within a criminal organization that could pay well enough to help her son and her family.

Bonjour will appear as “Dr. Dupont,” an overworked attending physician at a clinic serving one of Las Vegas’ poorest neighborhoods. He emigrated from France years ago because doctors here make more money than they do anywhere else in the world — at least that’s the reason he gives publicly.
DuPont hides his deep caring behind his good looks, quick humor, and jaded attitude. A sharp critic of the American medical system and his hospital administration, DuPont can be demanding, ironic, and often rude, but he saves a surprisingly tender bedside manner for patients. Despite his grumbling, DuPont loves the chaos of his underfunded ER. It’s the only place in the world where he makes sense.
Uy will also appear as “Feng,” who is wryly observant but with a dangerous side. Feng has a knack for running elaborate schemes for the Asian mob and has become an asset to international crime bosses worldwide. He started as an actor in Hong Kong, typically playing the sidekick to the hunky, Kung Fu star du jour but has since grown into a shrewd and calculating leader. Now, with the access he has to high-powered criminals, Feng is just waiting for his moment to manipulate the situation and take control…
The series, a co-production between Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment, also stars Kate Del Castillo, Santiago Cabrera, Sean Lew, Faith Bryant, and Khalen Roman Sanchez.
Bonjour is repped by Gersh and Stride Management.
Uy is represented by Buchwald and Zero Gravity Management.
