Former staff claims Melania can't wait to divorce Donald Trump

Melania and Donald Trump have never been good at hiding the tension between them however apparently the First Lady is actually counting down the days until she can divorce her President husband.

The bold claims surfaced in a new book written by Omarosa Manigault-Newman which details her experience working as an aide at the White House and some of what she has to say is causing quite the controversy, including this insight regarding the First Lady.

“Melania is counting every minute until [Trump] is out of office and she can divorce him,” Omarosa wrote.

Until that day comes, Omarosa believes Melania is using her outfit choices as a way to take subtle swipes at her husband and has referenced the infamous ‘I don’t really care, do u?’ jacket she wore to visit detained immigrant children separated from their parents.

“It’s my opinion that Melania was forced to go to the border that day in June, essentially, to mop up her husband’s mess,” Omarosa insisted.

“Not that Melania doesn’t have compassion for immigrant children; I’m sure she does.”

“(Melania) gladly, spitefully, wrecked her husband’s directives to make him look foolish.”

Omarosa penned her book Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House after she was reportedly fired for using the White House’s executive car service ‘like a personal Uber.’

However according to the press secretary for the White House Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the book is “riddled with lies and false accusations.”

In the meantime, Melania who is mum to son Barron Trump, 12 is putting on a strong front to show the public her family is top priority.

“While I know the media is enjoying speculation & salacious gossip, Id like to remind people there’s a minor child whose name should be kept out of news stories when at all possible,” Melania said in a previous statement to the press.
