Former 'Real Housewives' Star Having Surgery to Remove Tumor

Annemarie Wiley has a health update for her fans. The former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member took to Instagram on Sept. 22 to share that she has a tumor on her gallbladder and gallstones.

"The gallbladder will be coming out very soon," she said in the video shared to her Instagram page. "The surgeons were very concerned about there being tumors on my liver, so we had an MRI last week, and the MRI did not show any visible tumors or anything anywhere else."

She added that the fact that there are no visible tumors anywhere else is "incredible" news and that her surgery will be scheduled soon. "Gallbladder will come out, they'll send it to pathology and slice it up, look at it under the microscope and then that's when we'll know if it is cancerous, malignant or non-cancerous benign," she continued. "I'm super optimistic, the surgeons are super optimistic." Beyond the initial surgery, it's unclear what sort of treatment she will need.

Wiley appeared on the fourteenth season of RHOBH alongside Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Garcelle Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley and Crystal Kung-Minkoff. As we reported earlier this year, neither Wiley nor Kung-Minkoff will be back when the series returns later this fall, with Wiley joining the one-season Real Housewife club.

Wiley also took time both in the video and in her caption to speak about prioritizing mental health, writing, "Guys- please prioritize your mental health and minimize stress - stress can do awful things to our bodies!"

She added that she recommends focusing on "what nourishes you: exercise, meditate, stay off social media when needed, and remove toxic situations and people from your life."
