In 1995, he began hosting 120 Minutes, the alternative-focused series that MTV had aired since the mid-'80s. Pinfield looked back on some of his favorite moments from his memorable role in a July 2011 interview with EW.

He reminisced on the Oasis interview he did on Oct. 15, 1995. No surprise that brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher hadn't been getting along.

"During that first show I did with Oasis, they ended up fighting over which football team is better in their hometown of Manchester: Manchester City or Manchester United," Pinfield said. "While the cameras were rolling, they were ready to brawl on the set— 'City's the best! No, United's the best!' —and I just looked at the camera and said, 'Obviously, these guys aren’t going to come to an agreement right now, so it’s time for a commercial.'"

He also geeked out looking back at his encounter with Porno for Pyros on Nov. 2, 1997.
