Former Bachelorette Georgia Love pays tribute to show: 'Thanks for the husband'
Georgia Love who starred in the 2016 season has paid tribute to the hit reality show after news of its cancellation.
After the very sad news that The Bachelor franchise isn't returning to our screens in 2024, former Bachelorette Georgia Love has paid tribute to the show, thanking it for the "good times" and for, of course, her now-husband Lee Elliot.
Osher Gunsberg, host of the hit reality series, all but confirmed yesterday that the dating show wouldn't be returning to screens this year, after 11 seasons, telling 2DAY FM's Hughesy, Ed, and Erin that he hadn't cancelled his holiday to Fiji, which is scheduled for when filming usually takes place.
Georgia, who starred in the 2016 series, found love with Lee Elliot on the show, with the series also featuring Matty J who went on to become the 2017 Bachelor.
Taking to Instagram, Georgia paid tribute to the reality series ending, thanking it for all the sweet memories.
The Bachelor franchise ends: 'End of an era'
"The end of an era with @thebachelorau franchise ending after 11 years 🥀 Thank you for the good times, the mems and the husband," she wrote.
"@osher_gunsberg forever my (and 9 others’) number 1 Cupid!! 💘," she included in the caption.
