McDonald's Will Now Serve All-Day Breakfast In Australia

Australians asked for it and now McDonald's has answered their prayers, by announcing the all-day breakfast will be available nationwide by 2016.

Yes, that's right. The Bacon and Egg McMuffin, hash browns and hot cakes will be available all day, every day.

By 2016, every state in the country will have rolled out the menu, with Tasmania and Victoria introducing the changes from today.

Western Australia and South Australia already implemented the changes to their menu earlier this year and as demand for it was so high all over the country, they're bringing it nationwide.

“We know Aussies love our brekkie menu and have long wanted to be able to enjoy it at any time of the day,” chief marketing office of McDonalds Mark Lollback told news.com.au.

“After the incredible success of our trials, it was a no-brainer for us to answer the calls of our customers and work with our licensees to deliver all-day brekkie to the whole country.”

This means you can take a trip to the McDonald's drive-through at 8pm and get yourself a McMuffin, Breakkie Wrap or Ham and Cheese Pocket.

To celebrate this announcement on Wednesday, McDonald’s teamed up with Melbourne’s first float-down eatery, Jafflechutes, to launch Bacon & Egg McMuffins to waiting Macca’s brekkie lovers.

The McMuffin-chutes sailed down from the rooftop of McDonald’s into a laneway in the Melbourne CBD yesterday afternoon.
