FKA Twigs in Giorgio Armani, Julia Fox in Vaquera and More Gothic Looks at ‘The Crow’ Premiere in New York
Thirty years after the premiere of the original film, “The Crow” returns to theaters — in the form of a reboot — on Friday. The new iteration of the gothic superhero flick stars “It” actor Bill Skarsgård and singer-songwriter FKA Twigs.
At the film premiere in New York on Tuesday, stars including Julia Fox, Taylor Momsen and Mia Regan channeled the film’s dark aesthetic, selecting all-black ensembles with gothic flairs like buckles, lace and patent leather.

FKA Twigs
FKA Twigs selected an archival silk gown by Giorgio Armani, which featured a cutout neckline and a sweetheart silhouette. The singer-songwriter accessorized with a geometric headband and a bean-shaped clutch, completing her look with layered wooden bangles. Stylist Georgia Pendlebury dressed her for the occasion.
Taylor Momsen
Momsen brought her gothic aesthetic to the black carpet, selecting a paneled crushed patent leather Courrèges ensemble consisting of a strapless bustier, miniskirt and matching jacket. The “Gossip Girl” star added on platform lace-up boots and several silver necklaces.
Julia Fox
Fox selected a Vaquera ensemble featuring lingerie-inspired details. Her black pencil skirt was adorned with a pair of pink satin underwear, while her T-shirt was overlaid with a lacy garter tank. A cropped double-breasted blazer and leather slouch boots completed the actress and author’s look.
Mia Regan
Regan paired a strapless Jean Paul Gaultier dress featuring a buckled leather bustier. The model accessorized with patent leather pumps and silver rings, painting her lips a dark burgundy-violet shade.
A$AP Ferg
A$AP Ferg sported a blue motorcycle jacket over a white T-shirt, adding on black shorts, diamond-encrusted earrings and mixed-leather Lucchese cowboy boots.
