'Fixer to Fabulous' Stars Dave and Jenny Marrs 'Celebrate' Their Emmy Loss: 'I'm Proud of Our Team'
Dave and Jenny Marrs and their fabulous crew were honored with a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for their hit HGTV show Fixer to Fabulous!
Fixer to Fabulous was nominated for Best Instructional/ How-To Program alongside Fixer Upper: The Hotel, Martha Gardens, Windy City Rehab, and Hack My Home. The pair left their home in Bentonville, Arkansas, and traveled to Los Angeles for the Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony on June 7.
Netflix's Hack My Home ultimately took home the trophy on Saturday night. Although Fixer to Fabulous didn't win the award for their category this year, Dave and Jenny expressed their gratitude for the honor and experience and for the people behind the scenes who made it all happen.
Jenny took to Instagram to share the whole experience with fans. "Well that was fun! After a lot of years of a lot of hard work, it’s nice to sit back and celebrate every once in a while! We didn’t win the trophy but we were in the room with the two who have been there since day one (our amazing producers at @rivrmedia) and we were representing an entire team back home who have worked alongside us all these years to create a show that we can all be proud of," she wrote. "And, that’s pretty great in and of itself. I’m so proud of our team and all we have accomplished together!! 🤍 Thank you @daytimeemmys and @hgtv for a night I’ll never forget! 🤍"
Jenny came dressed to impress in a black one-shoulder gown and sparkly pointed toe heels, while Dave looked dapper in black jeans, dress shows, a blue pinstripe button down and black jacket.
The couple posed for photos alongside fellow HGTV star Alison Victoria and other attendees.
Fans drooled over Jenny's red-carpet worthy outfit. "Your dress is stunning! So classic ✨" and "Jenny, you look like a beautiful princess. What fun! Congratulations on the well deserved nomination and celebration," fans wrote.
Fellow HGTV stars offered congratulations. "Nice!!!" and "You guys are incredible! Love all the work you do ❤️," Rock the Block stars Ty Pennington and Sarah Baeumler wrote. "Just beautiful so proud of you guys!!!!," Anita Corsini of Flipping Showdown chimed in.
Win or lose, Dave and Jenny will always be on our must-watch list. We're so glad they had a chance to celebrate their amazing accomplishments from the past 8 years of Fixer to Fabulous!
