FBI Adds BAU Agent: Lisette Olivera Joins Season 7 Cast

CBS’ FBI has added a series regular to its cast for the first time in four years.

Lisette Olivera, who starred on Disney+’s National Treasure: Edge of History series as mystery-cracking, puzzle-solving heroine Jess Valenzuela, has joined the CBS crime drama’s Season 7 cast a series regular, our sister site Deadline reports.

Of CBS’ #TheFBIs franchise, the mothership has arguably sustained the least cast shake-ups. Most recently, One Tree Hill‘s Shantel VanSanten was added as recurring for Seasons 4-5, before being “transferred’ to FBI: Most Wanted last TV season.

But the previous addition of a series regular came back in Season 3, when Katherine Renee Kane joined the cast as Special Agent Tiffany Wallace. Prior to that, John Boyd and Alana de la Garza were added back in Season 2, as Special Agent Stuart Scola and Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille.

Of the original FBI cast, Missy Peregrym (Maggie), Zeeko Zaki (OA) and Jeremy Sisto (Jubal) remain.

In addition to her one-season run on TV’s National Treasure offshoot, Olivera’s small-screen credits include the web series Total Eclipse.
