‘Fast & Furious’ Franchise Actor Sung Kang Signs With Buchwald
EXCLUSIVE: Sung Kang, best known for his role as the popular ‘Han Lue’ in Universal’s billion-dollar Fast & Furious franchise, has signed with Buchwald for representation.
Kang most recently reprised his role in Fast X, continuing his journey which began on Justin Lin’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift when Han was believed to have died. He has reprised the role in the long-running action saga appearing in multiple installments, including Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, and F9. The final installment of the franchise is expected to be Fast X: Part 2 which is set in Los Angeles. Kang’s participation in the film has yet to be confirmed.

Beyond the “Fast & Furious” universe, Kang has continued to expand his reach across film and television. Most recently, he starred opposite Luke Evans in Luc Besson’s action thriller Weekend in Taipei and Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi as the formidable ‘Fifth Brother,’ part of the Empire’s ruthless Inquisitors.
Kang first gained recognition in Justin Lin’s Sundance hit Better Luck Tomorrow, which launched a career spanning blockbuster franchises and indie standouts. His film credits include We Can Be Heroes, The Free World opposite Elisabeth Moss, Octavia Spencer, and Boyd Holbrook, Bullet to the Head alongside Sylvester Stallone, and Live Free or Die Hard.
On the television side, Kang has had major roles in Starz’s Power and FOX’s Gang Related, as well as producing and starring in YouTube Originals’ High & Tight.
He will continue to be repped by Entertainment 360 and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkin.
