While you were trying to keep warm over the weekend, fashion VIPs and celebs including Zendaya were sunning themselves in Rio at the Louis Vuitton Cruise show.

Considering Karl Lagerfeld made headlines by showing his Cruise collection in Havana, Cuba, Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, had some serious competition to contend with this season.

Lucky then, that he held his show at the iconic Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Niterói, which basically looks like a modern-day spaceship.

Inspired by science and tech, Ghesquière paraded a series of colourful separates featuring metallics and cut-outs – perfect for the modern day Star Trek lover. Models walked a red carpet catwalk that spiraled past guests seated on milk crates – not your usual VIP perch, but hey, it’s Rio.

Celebs including Zendaya, Alessandra Ambrosio, Alicia Vikander and Jaden Smith lapped up the sun and later made everyone jealous with their sunset snaps of Rio.
