The Oscar de la Renta show, which was making it's Australian debut tonight, didn't disappoint, with Shanina stepping onto the runway wearing a vibrant orange and black knee-length skirt, matched with a ruffled black and white shirt and tweed jacket before changing into a gold, embellished mid-length dress with matching metallic shoes and clutch for the finale.

Models strutted down the runway wearing an array of couture and ready-to-wear floor-length gowns, prom style dresses and even a wedding dress and flower girls made a show-stopping appearance at the star-studded show.

Yesterday, the striking 25-year-old model starred in a fashion shoot for the brand on the steps of Sydney's iconic Opera House, where the after party is set to take place.

Wearing a number of beautiful, dramatic gowns, Shaik showcased the Oscar de la Renta brand to perfection.

Although Oscar de la Renta himself sadly passed away last year, his stepdaughter, Eliza Bolen was on hand to represent the brand at tonight's runway show.

“The attention of the fashion world will be firmly focussed on Sydney this May with the most influential buyers and media converging to see our local creative talent and designers make their mark and shine alongside renowned international brands.”

The supermodel took to her Instagram page on Monday to show off her first class cabin on her New York to Sydney Etihad flight, which featured a massive screen and brown leather couch.

"I'm going to be well rested for the show in Sydney," she captioned the shot.

The Australian model got engaged to her boyfriend DJ Ruckus in December and hinted recently that the pair may tie the knot in the States.
