Which shows are you most looking forward to seeing at MBFWA?
Definitely Toni Maticevski. I think he strikes a beautiful balance between modernisim and timelessness and yet his work isn't plain or predictable. It’s also really exciting to see some big international names on the schedule this year, such as Cynthia Rowley. I love her use of colour, her playfulness and her femininity.

Which beauty essentials would we find in your handbag?
Just the basics. I interchange between an Ilia lip gloss in The Butterfly & I and Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid lip treatment. I also like to carry a compact powder foundation for touchups. At the moment it’s Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation.

Describe your signature illustration style?
Expressive, colourful, creative.

What are some of your career highlights so far?
I loved conducting a watercolour workshop for beauty editors at the media launch for Neutrogena HydroBoost. It was held at Pete Evan’s North Bondi penthouse and we painted the view of the beach. Almost everyone was astounded at how well they did, despite not having painted before. I also loved illustrating a limited edition Artist’s Tin (a Christmas gift pack) for Lanolips. It featured a Sophia Loren, sixties-inspired ballerina on the front.

The best life advice you’ve ever received?
If you can dream it, you can do it. Visualise exactly what it is that you want in life, imagine yourself experiencing what ever it is, and you’ll find that, one way or another, it will happen.
