Karl Lagerfeld's cat owns the first Dyson Supersonic hairdryer

Karl Lagerfeld's cat is the first to own Dyson's Supersonic hair dryer.

The team behind the 82-year-old fashion designer treated Choupette Lagerfeld to the first ever hair product from the electrical brand, which features a 13-blade turbine and quiet motor, although the gadget is yet to launch in Europe.

Speaking to The Sunday Times Style magazine, Sir James Dyson said: "Karl's people got in touch. We sent one straight away."

Karl's feline - who has a make-up collection with Shu Uemura - is recognised for being a well-pampered pussy and is regularly showered with luxuries from Karl and her own "personal maids".

Speaking previously about the spoilt animal, he said: "She stays always with me and she has two personal maids. They play with her, they have to take care of her beautiful white hair, the beauty treatments for her eyes, and they entertain her.

"There is something unforgettable about her, the way she moves, the way she plays."

And Karl - who has collaborated with Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner and Lily-Rose Depp - believes Choupette is the ultimate style icon.

He explained: "She's an inspiration for elegance. For attitude.

"She is the centre of the world."

However Karl is equally as demanding as his fluffy friend, although he believes he is independent.

Speaking previously, he said: "I do everything. I hate that. I don't like people to touch me.

"But there is no kitchen in my house. They bring me food, like at a hotel, for lunch and dinner."
