Princess Charlotte's First Birthday: William and Kate Share Cute New Photos

Ahead of Princess Charlotte’s first birthday on Monday, four new photographs have been released by Kensington Palace.

The shots, taken by her mother at the family’s country estate in Norfolk in the last week, show the youngster smiling, walking, and playing both in and around Anmer Hall.

In two of the photos, Charlotte looks snug in a pretty pink dress with matching cardigan and bow hair clip while in the other two she’s clad in a blue and white ensemble with a blue bow clip fastened to her brunette locks. Her shoes are by Early Days, specifically made for pre- and almost-walkers, and her tights are from one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s go-to brands, Amaia Kids.

“The Duke and Duchess are very happy to be able to share these important family moments and hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do,” a statement released by Kensington Palace read.

These are the first photos of the youngest royal that have been released since the Queen’s 90th birthday two weeks ago and the second set of pictures that show Princess Charlotte on her own. The first were taken back in November — again, by the Duchess of Cambridge.
