Alexa Chung might be one of the fashion industry's most photographed people, but she can't stand turning the camera on herself.

The 31-year old says she's "far too old" for selfies, admitting she feels "foolish" taking them.

"I nearly posted a selfie yesterday from bed and I was thinking, 'What's wrong with me? I'm an adult and I'm sitting here in bed waving at a camera, trying to get the right angle. Why don't I just call them and say hi?'" asked Chung.

She's certainly not the first celebrity to admit an adversion to selfies: Karl Lagerfeld listed them as the thing he hates most in life, while Rosie Huntington-Whiteley told Yahoo7 she "feels like a dick" taking them.

"But people love them," added the supermodel. "I'm always mindful that I'm not being too narcissistic. I try to convey something that's honest, real and fun and that shows off my personality."

Similarly, Prince Harry told off a fan last year who tried to take a selfie with him. "I hate selfies," he said. "Seriously, you need to get out of it. I know you're young, but selfies are bad. Just take a normal photograph!"
