Nicole Trunfio And Gary Clark Jr Are Married

Australian model Nicole Trunfio and American musician Gary Clark Jr. have tied the knot at the very same place they met four years ago - Coachella.

The rockstar couple said their "I do's" at The Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs on April 19, just after musician Gary's set at the music festival, with the pool area of the hotel transformed into a floral wonderland.

The pair were joined by their adorable one-year-old son Zion for the festivities, along with fellow WA models Gemma Ward and Jessica Gomes who acted as bridesmaids and Ward’s two-year-old daughter, Naia, who was a flowergirl.

30-year-old Nicole wore a stunning, plunging v-neck ballgown by Australian designer Steven Khahil for the ceremony.

The exquisite dress features a mikado full skirted gown with hand appliqued silver, pearl and crystal beadwork throughout the fitted bodice and skirt and a 2.5 metre train with a scoop back and rolled collar back detail.

The veil was a handmade tulle flat style veil with intricate Swarovski crystal and pearl embellishments and finished with a full French Lace border.

Designer Steven Khalil said in a statement that he couldn’t be happier to be her chosen couturier for the ceremony.

“To work with such a wonderful and beautiful woman as Nicole on her special day was an honour," he said.

"She is breathtakingly elegant and we wish the couple all of the happiest of moments on their wedding day and for the future.”

Speaking to Brides.com, Nicole gushed over finding her dream dress.

"I went through thousands of dresses, ideas, and custom designs to find something that was truly authentic to me and everything I dreamed about," Nicole said.

"As a model, I don't usually get to choose the styles I wear on the day of a shoot, but on my wedding day I got to show off my style."

Nicole's five bridesmaids, including Ward and Gomes wore white, Reformation gowns and flower crowns.

For the reception, Nicole changed into a figure-hugging, semi-sheer, lace dress from YolanCris, with a high neckline and long sleeves.

The couple danced to Sam Cooke's "You Send Me," for their first dance before Alice Smith took to the stage, performing Nina Simon's "Will You Be My Husband,".

Then DJ James Gonzales took over and they danced the night away.

Trunfio, who got engaged to Clark in November 2014 has been in serious wedding planning mode for the last year.

The model began leaking details about her upcoming nuptials in February last year when she sneakily shared a snap of her wedding gown.
