Emily Ratajkowski Designs 'Emily' Dress For Charity

Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski, known colloquially as “that girl in the ‘Blurred Lines’ video,” is now exercising her clothing design muscle and helping a cause she cares about at the same time.

The 24-year-old has teamed up with her designer pal Christy Dawn to create the aptly named “Emily” dress—a square-necked mini with bell sleeves and a skater silhouette.

The sustainably-created $250 dress will be produced in five color-ways, and will have a limited run of only about 75 pieces.

Those who are able to snag one will also be supporting a cause close to EmRata’s heart: Planned Parenthood.

Of each item sold, 25 percent of the purchase price will be donated directly to the non-profit organization, which was defunded by the passing of a new US Senate bill on Thursday.

“I’ve always been interested in designing and creating clothes for women by women that are unique and flattering,” Ratajkowski said of the collab.

“Teaming up with Christy, an amazing friend, mother and entrepreneur, was an ideal situation.

"I couldn’t be happier with The Emily Dress, and am thrilled we are generating support for Planned Parenthood through a portion of the sales proceeds.”
