Gigi Was Rejected By Victoria's Secret Twice

She may only be 20-years-old but Gigi Hadid has already been rejected twice by the Victoria's Secret casting producers.

According to Gigi's mum, Yolanda Foster, the star was thrilled to be able to walk in this year's show, as it was her third time trying out.

“She worked really hard, this didn’t just fall into her lap,” says the 51-year-old reality star told Dailymail.com.

'”She's missed it twice, this was her third try and she pulled it off and got a spot that millions and millions of beautiful women deserve as much as she does. That's a part of the game though.”

The model of the moment looked stunning in a green and black creation on the Victoria's Secret runway on Wednesday.

She strutted down the runway in a green bra and bottoms with a matching flowing butterfly cape and black butterfly appliqué on her body.

Earlier in the day, Gigi posted a picture to her Instagram page showing her mum's sweet note before the show.

"The day is finally here," it said.

"Congratulations on making your dream come true! You are an extraordinary human being and I am so proud to be your mommy.

"Good luck tomorrow, know that I will be thinking of you every minute of your special day! I love you."
