Yahoo Lifestyle Fans Want Hoda Kotb to Team Up With Kelly Clarkson After 'Today' Exit

Fans are learning more about what Hoda Kotb plans to do after she leaves Today — and they want another famous TV host to get involved too.
The Today show host's final day on the NBC series airs on January 10, and ahead of her exit, she made an appearance on the January 6 taping of The Kelly Clarkson Show. As she and host Kelly Clarkson chatted about her final countdown and some of her favorite memories of being a news anchor, it quickly came up that Hoda has some things in the works outside of raising her daughters Haley Joy and Hope Catherine. But in typical Kelly fashion, she couldn't help but make a hilarious quip as a segue into what Hoda's plans are down the pipeline.
"I have to say though, ma'am, as soon as they told me you were not doing The Today Show, I was like, so what's that b**** doing?" Kelly joked while Hoda cracked up in an Instagram clip. "I was like, because there's no way you're not doing anything. You're like me, you like problems, you like working."
After some laughter, Hoda explained she's in the process of launching a wellness app and company in the spring of 2025, which will include a podcast, retreats and other group activities. Even though things are in the early stages, Kelly was so excited about this idea and what this could mean for Hoda's future.
"I am starting a wellness app and company that will involve retreats and a podcast and all kinds of things that we can get together, do things that I love," Hoda elaborated. "When you are done, it's not like going to Mexico with your girls... this is something that when you leave, you'll go like, oh my gosh, I feel transformed. I feel different. So I'm in the building process of that."
"A lot of us need to be better at that, 'cause we're—I'm—a go, go, go, go," Kelly agreed. "We exhaust ourselves, and we're not good at knowing how to be still or slow down... Don't tell me about it, invite me."
"Oh, you're coming!" Hoda replied.
Upon seeing the two interact, people loved the thought of Kelly and Hoda collaborating on project in the future.
"Love everything about this!! ❤️👏," one person wrote on Instagram. "This looks like a TEAM - love Hoda & Kelly! A collab on the way sounds right to me 👏🏼," another requested. "Love the matchup of Kelly and Hoda …. what a duo they would be …. maybe something in the future!!!" a different follower chimed in.
Clearly, there's TV magic with Kelly and Hoda, and we can only imagine what they could do if they combined forces!
