Fans Are 'Uncomfortable' With JoJo Siwa's Bedazzled Bulge in New Magazine Cover Photos
JoJo Siwa, who released the divisive EP Guilty Pleasure this summer, now has fans puzzling out her new magazine cover photoshoot that featured a bedazzled male chest plate and bulge.
Siwa and Ladygunn shared the unique new images on Instagram, with the publication writing, "@itsjojosiwa breaks out in this month’s hunky cover. She sat down with us in her Times Square hotel room to discuss dissociating, Logan Paul and @JakePaul, and what she thinks about all the attention."
In the photos, Siwa was wearing a gold bedazzled chest plate made to look like a male chest and what appeared to be a matching jockstrap.
It's safe to say that the reactions to the images were mixed, with a top-liked comment saying, "No hate, I’m honestly just confused."
Another simply wrote, "I’m uncomfortable," while more said, "I'm sorry, what's this?....." and "Raise your hand if you’ve ever been personally victimized by JoJo Siwa 🙋🏼♀️."
"What in the world 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ no this isn’t it!" said a different fan, while a similar comment read, "Girl please no."
But there were also plenty of defenders of the look, with supportive comments like, "Legendary!!!!❤️🔥❤️🔥," "Omg, this is soooo camp i’m loving it," and "This is kinda iconic icl."
"This is editorial af and if it was anyone else y’all would eat it up," wrote someone else in appreciation of the photos.
The magazine later shared a few other images, revealing that the issue was a double cover, and fans seemed to have a better reaction to the second set of photos.
One outright said, "These ones are better ❤️❤️," while a similar response read, "She should’ve posted these photos instead tbh."
"These are actually super cute 💖," wrote another fan.
The former Dance Moms star came out with the EP Guilty Pleasure on July 12, featuring the song "Karma," with the new styling and songs getting mixed reactions from fans.
