Fans Think Trolli 'Should Have Rethought the Packaging' of Its New Frozen Offering
Trolli's newest sweet treat is raising some eyebrows over the packaging, which users on the internet claim wasn't very well thought-out.
On Friday, Oct. 4, Instagram food news expert Markie Devo shared some exciting news about Trolli's newest product: the Trolli Frozen Gummi Pops. While the popsicles themselves look tastefully sweet, there was something very distasteful fans noticed in the packaging.

After seeing a sneak peek at the colorful boxes, fans couldn't help but notice that the pops, which are advertised as having a "chewy, gummi texture," looked a bit phallic on the front of the packages. In order to properly depict the pops' texture, the pops were made to look like they were making a wiggling motion, prompting some viewers to have their minds stuck in the gutter.

"Wait a minute 👀" one Instagram user wrote under Devo's post, while tons of other commenters also seemed to be thinking the same NSFW thing.
"did they HAVE to make it that shape specifically 😭" one fan questioned, while someone else called the brand "Outta pocket for that wiggle."
"Sooo many questions 😂" another user added in the comments.
"I feel uncomfortable 😬😵💫" wrote someone else, while another chimed in to say, "I think they should have rethought the packaging. 😳🤣."
One person even claimed that the current design wasn't going to work, insisting, "I bet they going have to redesign these. I hope they didn't actually start shipping!"
"Trolli be trollin’ with these 😳," another comment read.
The news of the new Trolli Frozen Gummi Pops also made its way over to Reddit, where users were equally as puzzled by the choices made in the packaging design.
"They are most likely going to get pulled from the shelves for the design" one Reddit poster argued.
Someone else agreed that even though the packaging "looks suspect," that trying one of the pops themselves actually "sounds good."
The pops appear to be coming out in two different flavors: Grape Strawberry, replicating the iconic red and blue Trolli gummy worms, as well as Cherry Lemon in red and yellow.
It hasn't yet been confirmed when the Trolli Frozen Gummi Pops will be hitting shelves—or how long they will last—but according to Devo, they will be coming to frozen aisles "soon."
