So what can we expect from him and just who is he?

Who is Player 125 in Squid Game season 2?

Player 125 is introduced during the Six-Legged Pentathlon game after Thanos tries to recruit Se-mi AKA Player 380 to join his team. He agrees to let them both join after she notes that she would only play with them if Player 125, who introduces himself as Min-su, joins in as well. Although he struggles with the Gong-gi portion of the game, the team survives.

While they're waiting to see how many players ended up surviving the round, Nam-gyu (Player 124) asks Min-su to count all the players that are still alive. However, Se-mi stops him by standing up for him and pointing out that he doesn't have to really listen to Nam-gyu since they're the same age.

Later on during the vote, Min-su ends up voting to continue playing the games, feeling pressure from his new "teammates" to continue the games. During "Mingle," it seems like Min-su is part of the group. When Thanos and Nam-gyu propose a game of rock, paper, scissors, between Min-su and Se-mi, he puts out a scissor against Se-mi's open hand, winning and keeping him safe. However, in the final round where they can only go in the room in pairs, both Thanos and Nam-gyu ditch him. He ends up finding another player to run into a room with and he survives.

Thanos seems excited to see him again, but he quickly feels guilty over what happened between him and Se-mi. Despite Thanos and Nam-gyu wanting to continue the games, he ends up voting against it. Thanos and Nam-gyu try to corner him in the bathroom to vote to switch his vote back in the re-vote. He survives the bathroom fight and during the fight back in the main room, he ends up hiding in one of the top bunks, trying to stay away from everything else.

Min-su sees the Se-mi is being attacked by Nam-gyu and tries to hit Nam-gyu in the head with a bottle that he has, but misses. Se-mi picks it up and tries to go after Nam-gyu, but he quickly uses it against her and kills her with it causing Min-su to panic during the attack. Like many other players who stayed behind in the main room during the coup, he survives and we are left wondering what happened to him as the season ends.

Wait, what about this big theory about Player 125.

So, yes about that. Park Min-su is played by an actor named Lee David. However, he shares the same name as one of the actors in the show's first season who played on the of VIP guests, VIP 3. However, that actor's name in listed out in English in the credits, while Lee David's name is listed out in Korean in season 2. This is likely because, like the other VIPs in season 2, they were played by English (and likely American) actors and not Korean actors. However, many fans are now believing that this means that Min-su is secretly a VIP that's now playing in the Squid Game for fun.

While this would certainly be an interesting twist, especially since we haven't seen the VIPs yet this season, there's a good chance that they are just two different actors who just share the same name.
