Photo of Chris Hemsworth's sons playing with snake shocks fans
Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky’s Byron Bay lifestyle has gained the famous duo a reputation as laid back parents.
But now the couple, who share daughter India Rose, six, and five-year-old twin boys Tristan and Sasha, have taken this approach to a new level.
Snakin’ around
The kids’ 43-year-old mother took to Instagram on Thursday to show the trio playing with a snake, much to the delight of the family’s large fan base.
“Boys found a little baby python today. Hopefully when it grows up we’ll still be friends,” she wrote.
In the snaps, the siblings are shown fearlessly interacting with the reptile, with both boys petting the snake as it slithered across a wooden floor.
Their sister India Rose soon joined in the fun by allowing the python to wrap itself around her forearm.
Low-key like Loki
A baby, or ball, python is a non-venomous type of snake which can grow to be more than 1.5m metres in length upon reaching adulthood.
However, fans were bowled over with excitement at the Hemsworths’ house guest—with many comparing it to their father’s most famous onscreen rival.
“It's Loki disguised as a snake,” wrote one follower in reference to the Thor villain.
“Like father like sons... Thor love snakes too,” wrote another.
And while it’s business as usual for the Hemsworth kids at home, the family has been thrust into the spotlight in the past month after uncle Liam stayed with the clan following his split with Miley Cyrus.
