Kylie Kelce recently delivered a commencement speech at her alma mater, Cabrini University. In the process, she demonstrated "what a real commencement speech should be," according to fans who compared the speech to Harrison Butker's problematic address.
On Sunday, May 19, Kelce stood before more than 3,000 graduating students at the private Catholic university in Radnor, Pa., per People. The mom of three and wife of retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce played field hockey at Cabrini before graduating with a bachelor's degree in communications in 2017.
"I am well aware that my current position in life is due to the wonderful people around me. But I'll be damned if I don't stay true to myself and everything that I do and ensure that I am always authentically me," Kelce told the 2024 graduates. "So find the things that speak to you. Your enthusiasm can be channeled to create change, and you are wonderful the way that you are."

The 32-year-old also spoke about the "beauty" of the uniqueness each person offers in society.
"What a boring world it would be if you and your classmates sitting to either side of you thought exactly the same way, enjoyed exactly the same things and partook in exactly the same activities," she pointed out.
Additionally, Kelce addressed the question of "What's next?" following college graduation.
"'I don't know' can be an honest and sufficient answer," she admitted. "The truth is that no one has their lives completely figured out. And if someone tells you otherwise, they are lying."

As snippets of Kelce's speech circulated online, fans reacted to her honest commencement address.
One Instagram user declared, "Much better than the speech given by her husband’s brother’s teammate 😂," referencing Butker's widely condemned remarks about women's lives beginning when they get married and have children.
