Fans Say Dr. Pepper's 'Immaculate' New Flavor Is a Very 'Good Addition'

As consumers, our love for soft drinks knows no end. Our favorite soda brands are sold in just about every retail space imaginable and there’s always a new flavor in development begging for our approval. Soft drinks are obviously not the healthiest option on the planet, but there’s no denying their exceptional taste and perfect pairing with a cheeseburger and fries.

This year, Dr. Pepper aims to improve upon their original product, which boasts 23 flavors in one can. The internet already closed out 2024 with an incredibly viral hot Dr. Pepper recipe, and then followed it up with rumors of an 'Ungodly Good' return flavor coming in 2025: Dr. Pepper Creamy Coconut. Now, the excitement is intensifying, as the soda giant has just announced a brand-new permanent flavor known as Dr. Pepper Blackberry.

Marketed as a refreshing, delicious concoction made of traditional Dr. Pepper and mixed with a sweet, lively blackberry flavor, this new flavor offering will also be available in Zero Sugar form. Fans who have already gotten an early taste have been raving about its “tart, but smooth” flavor online, claiming it “blends with the Dr. Pepper exceptionally.”

One Redditor describes the flavor as being “60-percent blackberry, 40-percent Dr. Pepper,” while also noting that it is “not overpowering and isn’t too sweet.” They go on to say that after putting down their glass, “the blackberry lingers,” however, the “mouthfeel is immaculate” and “each sip leaves me satisfied, but wanting more.”
