Fans Demand Kim Kardashian Apologize for Trolling Kate Middleton Amid Cancer Revelation
Kim Kardashian
In the wake of Kate Middleton announcing she has cancer, fans have demanded that Kim Kardashian apologize to the Princess of Wales for trolling her amid wild conspiracy theories.
The reality star took to Instagram on March 16 with a carousel of photos of herself. However, her completely unrelated caption raised eyebrows. "On my way to go find Kate," Kardashian wrote next to a picture of herself leaning against an SUV, making light of swirling speculation about Middleton's health and whereabouts.
Fast-forward to March 22, and the future queen finally revealed her health diagnosis following planned abdominal surgery she underwent in mid-January: She has cancer.
Instagram users have since flocked to the comments of Kardashian's post to demand an apology. One person wrote, "After the news of her having cancer has been revealed, you should really take this down. It’s extremely insensitive and you owe our princess an apology."
Another Instagram user commented, "Can you please go find an apology instead??" while someone else pointed out, "Well I guess you found her in the chemo ward Kim. Your caption is distasteful."

Others got more snarky with their comments, with one person declaring, "Pathetic insensitive post. My heart goes out to Kate Middleton. On another note I mean is Kim K still relevant? Just asking…"
Someone else wrote, "She’s a member of the Royal Family for gods sake. Not some fame hungry wannabe. Have some respect!!"
Yet another Instagram user chimed in, "I would highly suggest an apology. How cruel when she’s battling cancer 😭."
As of writing, Kardashian has not responded to the backlash or removed the post.

In Middleton's video announcement, she explained that initially, doctors determined her condition was non-cancerous. Further testing, unfortunately, revealed there was cancer present.
“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” the royal shared. “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
Middleton said she waited to share the news until after she and Prince William explained to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis the situation "in a way that is appropriate to them. Additionally, she noted that she is "well and getting stronger every day" while stressing her family's need for "time, space, and privacy" amid her ongoing treatment.
