Fans Declare Pink a 'True Rockstar' for Powering Through Onstage Injury: ‘Don’t Need Knees to Fly’
Pink recently sustained an onstage injury at one of her concerts—however, the "What About Us" singer impressively powered through the pain to finish the show.
On Friday, Sept. 13, Pink, 45, performed at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as part of her Summer Carnival Tour. A Reel published on Sunday, Sept. 15 showed footage of Pink limping onto the stage after sustaining an injury.
"P!nk injured her knee before her encore in Las Vegas," the Instagram user wrote in text overlay on the video. "But nothing can stop her! 🔥."
In the clip, the singer hobbled across the stage before motioning to her team and saying, "I need help."
"Don't worry, I just messed up my knee," she reassured concert-goers. "But it's fine, who needs them? I got another one."
Pink then declared, "You don't need knees to fly. I'm coming to see you in the back!" as crew members secured her into the harness, and her hit track "So What" began.
She proceeded to crush her aerial routine for the encore while injured.

In the comments, fans praised Pink for her dedication to finishing the concert. One person wrote, "Pink is incredible! Even in pain she goes on! That is true girl power! ❤️🩷."
Another Instagram user commented, "She nailed it! Thank you for still loving your fans as much as you do to still perform after being injured ❤️."
Someone else declared, "A true rockstar 😍," while a different fan marveled, "How did she do that❓."
This wasn't the first time Pink's acrobatics have gone awry. A couple of weeks ago, she broke character after flying off course during an aerial stunt. Of course, the "Get the Party Started" singer gracefully recovered and continued without issue.
It's safe to say that Pink is dead serious when it comes to the phrase, "The show must go on."
