Why Fans Love Trader Joe's Pretzel Bread Pudding
Kena said Trader Joe's has its mini bread pudding desserts out now and fans are rushing to get them.
In her Instagram video, which you should watch for the amazing voiceover alone, Kena showed the Trader Joe's Pretzel Bread Pudding up close and it honestly looked like a clumpy bread mess, but when she cut into it, that all changed! It looked so good and moist!
This bread pudding comes in a mini size, perfect for individual snacking. Kena topped it with some whipped cream (okay, a lot of whipped cream) and we were drooling.
Bread pudding is a dessert that's typically made from stale bread soaked in a mixture of milk, eggs, sugar and spices, then baked until soft and custardy. Often topped with sauces like caramel or whiskey, it’s a comforting, nostalgic treat that people love for its rich, homey flavor.
Some people aren't big bread pudding fans because it can have a mushy texture, but this Trader Joe's version doesn't look mushy at all. That may be because it's made with pretzel bread, which has a little more chew than othe breads.
Kena says it's the perfect bread pudding flavor and texture- "salty, sweet, moist, tender. It's everything you want in a bread pudding."
It warms up quickly in the microwave, so you get a cozy bread pudding in just seconds (which is perfect for a cold day). A two-pack only costs $5, which also makes it a super affordable treat.
