Has Harry Styles left One Direction for good?

One Direction may be history for real, as we hear Harry Styles has officially left the band’s management and signed up as a solo artist to CAA and will now be managed by his good friend and top US agent Jeffrey Azoff.

“We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him…Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him,” Modest Management, who manages 1D, said in a statement. “We look forward to sharing some great wine with them next time we are in L.A.”

So does this mean the star is following in the footsteps of his former bandmember Zayn Malik and going single?

While some say that he’s just prepping for a solo career while the band is on hiatus but The Sun speculates that Hazza’s switch in management is an attempt for him to distance himself from One Direction, but that’s not been confirmed.

"Harry had a great time working with Modest and Syco," says a source and even though Simon Cowell and Sony are eager to sign him as a solo artist, he is keen to do something new. "The feeling is that he probably wants a completely fresh start and that could include his record company as well."

In December, Styles registered four new songs as a solo writer and performer, Coco, Endlessly, Already Home and 5378 Miles.
