Harry Styles reckons he’d be a better solo artist than Zayn Malik!

There’s been huge hype surrounding Zayn Malik’s first solo single, Pillow Talk, since it dropped last week – but the star’s former bandmate Harry Styles isn’t a fan!

In fact, we’re told Harry – who turns 22 today - reckons he could do waaaaay better!

“Despite Zayn’s unbelievable success with his debut single, Harry is quietly confident that his first single will do better,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com.

“He thinks he will blow Zayn’s solo career out the water, and Harry has the right people behind him who want him to be more successful outside of the band.”

So does this mean Hazza is planning to leave One Direction?

“Like Zayn, Harry wants to distance himself musically from 1D for a bit, and his single will be far edgier, a lot cooler and have a tinge of rock and roll about it,” adds the insider.

“He really doesn’t think that it is as good as anything that 1D has done with or without Zayn.” Burn!
