Yahoo Lifestyle 'No Kardashian Parking' Signs Erected in Hollywood

If you're a Kardashian living in Hollywood, you might find yourself short of parking options.
'No Kardashian Parking Any Time' signs have popped up in key locations around Los Angeles, one of them being in front of the DASH boutique, which was founded by sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.

While they look completely legit, the signs are indeed fake. The person responsible for posting the seven signs up in Hollywood is street artist Plastic Jesus - who has been dubbed the LA Banksy.
According to Plastic Jesus, the stunt is a protest against mainstream media's obsession with the Kardashians.
"The Kardashian family has become ingrained in our culture," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "We've allowed mainstream media to become so profit-driven, we are sacrificing genuine news stories to satiate our vapid celebrity obsessions."

Speaking about his other popular campaign, the artist said, "'Stop Making Stupid People Famous' often gets blogged as a criticism of the Kardashians. But that piece is also meant to criticise us as consumers. Without us, there would be no market for the Kardashians. We are equally, if not more so, to blame."
