Yahoo Lifestyle Kim Kardashian Says She's Not Protective Of North West
You may have noticed a lot more photos of North West creeping into your Instagram feed lately.
Rest assured you're not going crazy: it's simply a sign that Kim Kardashian has relinquished her protective mother role.
The reality tv actress admitted she'd probably gone too far in shielding North West from the cameras when she was first born, saying it had impinged on her own social life.
"At first I was like: 'I'm not going to Instagram photos' or I'm going to try to totally change my life but it was really prohibiting me from spending time with my friends and having my daughter grow up with my friends' kids, so I'm a lot less protective than I was," she told Insider.

North now sits amicably on Kim's lap at fashion shows (though not everyone is happy about that), accompanies Kanye to the studio and runs amok on the streets in designer wear.
Considering her entire family has made a career out of television appearances and her own mother has published a book of selfies, we think it would have been difficult to keep North West away from the camera.
But Kim says her daughter, who is now 18 months-old, is the love of her life.
"I am just so obsessed with being a mum, more than I ever thought," she said. "Everyone has a story that they want to tell you when you're pregnant and, for me, my pregnancy was not the best or the most fun so I didn't want to hear any of it.
"After having her, your whole world changes. I am just so obsessed with her, me and my husband are, we wake up every day and talk about her and how much we love her. It is fun."
