A Fake Advantage Was Played to Masterful Effect This Week on 'House of Villains'

They say keep your enemies close and your made-up reality TV advantages even closer. At least, that's how the saying goes on House of Villains Season 2, if this week's strategy-filled episode is anything to go by.

Episode 7 of the ruthless E! reality competition—which has brought together 10 of television’s most infamous villains to face off against one another for the chance to earn a hefty $200,000 cash prize and the coveted title of "America's Ultimate Supervillain"—saw an especially Machiavellian move. The Challenge's Wes Bergmann, a reality star known for his cutthroat schemes and prolonged gameplay, created a fake advantage and played it masterfully.

Plus, after a particularly bloody Battle Royale Challenge, we also saw the crowning of a new Supervillain of the Week and the nominations of a new trio of villains to the Hit List.

So which housemate now holds all of the power and which three are in danger of being ejected from the villains' lair? Here's everything that happened on Episode 7 of House of Villains Season 2.

Who was eliminated in Episode 7 of House of Villains Season 2?

No one. Last week, Bad Girls Club star Camilla Poindexter was sent packing in a nearly unanimous house vote spearheaded by Wes as revenge for nominating him for the Hit List back in Episode 3. This week was a non-elimination with a Battle Royale Challenge naming a new Supervillain of the Week, who got to put up three villains of their own choosing to the Hit List. That means an elimination is to come next week in Episode 8.

Wes's worries came true—after a blood-splattered Battle Royale Challenge, RuPaul's Drag Race alum Kandy Muse became the Supervillain of the Week, which spelled trouble for the ginger-haired Challenge star, especially as he has been mercilessly taking out Kandy's closest allies one by one each week. Prior to the Battle Royale, Kandy warned the rest of the villains not to discount her just because she had been left vulnerable without a stable of allies to protect her, and she was right.

Who was named to the Hit List on Week 4 of House of Villains Season 2?

Each week the Supervillain of the Week gets to name three villains to their Hit List. At the end of the week, one of the three will be voted off by the remainder of the contestants. The three nominees in Episode 7 are:

Despite some well-timed brown-nosing from the Love & Hip-Hop alum, Safaree Samuels was the first villain nominated to this week's Hit List by Supervillain Kandy Muse. Not only has Safaree been a close ally to Wes the whole season, but the decision was also payback for putting Muse on the Hit List the very first week. Though Samuels didn't seem too perturbed by being nominated ("Honestly, I really love being on the Hit List, I love being on stages," he joked during a confessional), he warned Muse: "When I come back to the house, your ass is grass."

The Bachelor's Victoria Larson has become a frequent figure on the Hit List through House of Villains Season 2, due to both her ongoing alliance with Wes as well as her personal problems with several villains in the house. Most notably, Larson is in an ongoing feud with The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen that reared its ugly head several times during Episode 7. Maybe it was all of that interpersonal stress, but Larson was teary in a confessional talking about the nomination, telling Muse during the ceremony: "I gave you a chance to not screw me over and you proved exactly who you are." However, the drag queen brutally reminded her: "Exactly who I am, which is a villain, fighting for $200,000."

Ahead of the nomination ceremony, it seemed like Kandy Muse would surely make the obvious choice and nominate master pot-stirrer Wes to the Hit List in the hopes of taking out the season's biggest threat. However, Wes's homemade fake advantage ruse—which he told Kandy gave him a secret power that could potentially have him replaced as Supervillain of the Week—seemed to work on Muse, despite her not fully trusting Bergmann. Kandy started off announcing the week's final Hit List nominee by saying: "Today I walked in here and I said, 'Is the spirit of Camilla gonna come in me and act reckless tonight and put Wes up on the Hit List?'" She then told Wes, "And it has, but not for you. It's Larsa." Kandy reasoned that every single person she nominated to the Hit List is allied with Wes, but was it the right move not targeting Bergmann directly? Only time will tell.
