EXCLUSIVE: Emma Chamberlain Poses Nude for Stylist Jared Ellner’s Coquettish Brand Debut
Stylist Jared Ellner, whose clients include Sabrina Carpenter and Emma Chamberlain, is unveiling the first collection for his namesake brand.
“I have always wanted to release a brand,” said Ellner, a Parsons School of Design alum. “I really got into fashion because I have had a dream to be a designer since as long as I can remember. Styling is something that I sort of stumbled into and never really expected. I truly don’t know where I would be without it. It has completely changed my life, and I think I will never not be a stylist. I’ve fallen in love with it so deeply. But my first passion was becoming a designer and that was always the driving force for my passion in this industry.”

The line, out Nov. 11 and selling direct-to-consumer at jaredellner.com, priced between $450 and $1,050, features three bustiers, two miniskirts and a bag — all woven with vintage ribbons in various fabrications and colorways including baby pink and sage green. He sourced materials locally in downtown Los Angeles, where he has a work studio, collaborating with a design and production manager, Hayden Cherouny.
“I just became obsessed,” Ellner said of the ribbons. “I’m such a girly girl at heart, truly. And I started draping with it and weaving it and imagining what could be. I had an idea for a bag that looked like it was wrapped in ribbons in its entirety. And from there, we started working to figure out how to execute that. And as soon as we started to figure out the bag, we started figuring out how to create skirts that would match. And then my stylist brain kicked in and I was thinking about what top to go with it. It all unfolded really slowly and really organically.“
He began working on the line in April 2023, landing Chamberlain for the campaign. The content creator and fashion darling isn’t just a client but a close friend. In some of the photographs, shot by Marcus Cooper, she poses nude while showcasing the bag.
“Emma is the most special and supportive and unbelievably kind person that I’ve had the chance to work with, and she very graciously early on, as I told her what was happening, was excited and wanted to be involved,” said Ellner, one of a number of stylists who have started their own clothing brands, including Rachel Zoe, Andrea Lieberman and Karla Welch. “She lent me her absolutely stunning face and body.…To have one of my best friends, who’s one of the most talented models I’ve ever met, lend themselves for this was a dream.”
