And doing it with a smile, no less.

Eva Longoria may have done the right thing by getting out to the polls to vote early, but the Desperate Housewives actress broke a major fashion rule in the process of casting her ballot for the 2024 presidential election.

The 49-year-old was spotted on October 30, six days before Election Day, in an ensemble that consisted of a winter white ankle length peacoat, fitted white shirt, and a silky white wrap skirt with a tie detail at the waist, breaking the age old rule of no white after Labor Day. She completed the look with taupe grey pointed high heels, gold hoop earrings, and let her biggest accessory—a red and blue "I Voted" sticker placed on the lapel of her jacket—be the star of the outfit.

Longoria's early voting comes ahead of her vocal support of Kamala Harris and the Democratic party. In August, she voiced support for Harris while speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

"She comes from a family a lot like mine and I'm sure, a lot like yours. We were both raised knowing that no one was going to hand us anything, especially as women," she said during her speech. "We were going to have to touch every rung of the ladder to get ahead, we were going to work really hard. She worked at McDonalds and I worked at Wendy's...look at us now! Kamala and I were able to see beyond the horizon because our families supported our big dreams. Well guess what? As Americans, were part of one big family. Somos familia. And as familia, we have to have each other's back. We have to support each other's dreams. She supports us to dream big too."
