Emma's private pics leaked in hack

Actress Emma Watson has been targeted by vicious hackers, with “hundreds” of private photos of the star being posted on the dark web – a sordid part of the Internet accessible by specialised software and passwords.

Rumours began circling on Twitter and Reddit that “over 122” pics of the star were about to leak online, before several users confirmed that both Emma and actress Amanda Seyfried had indeed been targeted.

According to a report from The Telegraph, a Reddit user posted: “There may be a few more names added to that list but these are the big two.”

“Don't want to break any Reddit rules so no links right now but there should be some really good drama over the next few days,” the user added.

Although previous Hollywood hacks have included naked photos of celebrities, Emma’s rep denies that these pics are of that nature.

“Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen. They are not nude photographs,” the spokesperson said. “"Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further.”

Pregnant actress Amanda Seyfried has also been hacked, with “intimate” pics of the star with ex-boyfriend Justin Long leaking online.

TMZ reports that her lawyers have fired off a threatening letter to website Celeb Jihad demanding that the images be taken down from their site.

The hack comes after 200 private nude photos of model Emily Ratajkowski were leaked from her iCloud and sent to a journalist last week.
