Celebrities you had no idea were related is my favorite game to play. And bringing the trivia today is an auntie-niece relationship made totally obvious by a hair transformation: Emma Roberts, Julia Roberts, it's your turn in the gene pool.
Over the weekend, Emma Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts, hard launched a new hair color to her 20.5 million Instagram followers. "🌅 SUNRISE RED 🌅," the 33-year-old actor wrote to caption her two-part grid carousel post, while also tagging the geniuses behind the cut and color, hairstylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri.
With this new hair 'do (which, FYI, is a signature color of Julia's), fans are drawing similarities between the two. One commented: "Yup totally giving Pretty Woman vibes," while another put: "Level Aunt Julia unlocked😍." But as Charli XCX and I would say: "She's so Julia." IYKYK.
Do you see the family resemblance? I mean, it's everything from the warm tone to the chest-length curls and obviously, the genetics!
Science aside, in the comments section of Emma's post, fans are also speculating whether or not this new hairstyle could be for an upcoming role. Could she be returning to Scream 7? After all, she has been recently followed on social media by both Kevin Williamson and the production company behind the movie.
I guess only time will tell! But for now, you can catch me debating whether or not to follow suit with a red hair makeover of my own. To dye or not to dye, that is the question...
