All the stars Ellen DeGeneres has 'banned' from her show

Ellen DeGeneres has faced a barrage of backlash over the past few weeks, with shocking allegations surfacing about the star’s alleged behaviour.

Now it has been revealed there are some celebrities she has reportedly blacklisted from appearing on her talk show

Ellen, who famously ends her show telling viewers to "be kind to one another", has been publicly slammed by former security guard Tom Majercak, who worked for Ellen and her family when she hosted the 2014 Academy Awards.

And then a former staffer told the New York Post: “The stories are all true!”

“Is she always nice? No. It irritates me that people think she’s all sweetness and light and she gets away with it,” they added.

Caitlyn Jenner reportedly saw herself banned from the show after releasing her tell all memoir The Secrets of My Life in 2017.

Ellen and Caitlyn disagreed about gay marriage during an appearance on the talk show in 2015, and Caitlyn then said Ellen had “alienated” her from the LGBTQ community.

Vince Vaughn was apparently not allowed to appear on her show because of a line his character said in the 2011 comedy The Dilemma.

“Electric cars are gay. I mean, not homosexual, but my-parents-are-chaperoning-the-dance gay,” he said in the trailer. But they’ve since made amends.

It’s been no secret that Ellen and Kathy Griffin haven’t seen eye-to-eye. Kathy opened up about their feud during a comedy tour she embarked on in 2018.

Apparently it all started with a conversation they had after the 2014 death of comedian Joan Rivers, according to Variety.

“One of the things that really hurt Joan, and we talked about it at our last meal together, was that Ellen always shunned her and Ellen thought she was vulgar and not funny,” Kathy said.

“I just called her and I just said, ‘Look, woman to woman, comic to comic, I think you need to let go of your hatred for Joan Rivers. She’s passed away, just do a f***ing tribute, be cool.'”

But Ellen’s response was: “There’s a difference between mean and funny.”

Gospel singer Kim Burrell is also on Ellen’s blacklist according to the New York Post.

Kim had been invited to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show alongside Pharrell to promote their song from Hidden Figures. But she was then allegedly banned after making homophobic comments in a video online.

Fellow talk show host Sherri Shepherd had appeared on Ellen’s show many times before. But The View host was reportedly banned after making comments about gay marriage.

After she came out on The View taking a stance against gay marriage, the Ellen show refused to book Sherri,” an insider told Page Six. “They never gave a reason but the writing was on the wall.”

As rumours about her continue to gain more traction, it’s been claimed Ellen, 63, is struggling and is ‘at the end of her rope’.
