Ellen DeGeneres Has Reportedly Moved To England, And Here's Why
Ellen DeGeneres isn't just saying "bye-bye" to show business — apparently, she's saying it to the United States, too.
People reports that Ellen recently moved from the US to England after finding a house there that she "loved."
A source said, "Ellen was in England house hunting in the beginning of October. She ended up finding a house that she loved and purchased it shortly after."
TMZ was first to report the news. It also comes after images emerged of Ellen and Portia visiting journalist Jeremy Clarkson's pub, The Farmer's Dog, in the UK.
"They hung out with [Clarkson's partner, actress] Lisa Hogan and James Blunt, and The Corrs performed at the pub," the People source shared.
So far, Ellen hasn't addressed the report. She has largely kept out of the spotlight since ending her eponymous daytime talk show in 2022 — two years after her toxic workplace scandal, in which current and former employees of the show alleged racism and workplace bullying to BuzzFeed News.
BuzzFeed has reached out to reps for Ellen for comment on the latest report — we'll let you know if we hear back. In the meantime, tell me what you think of this and if you'd ever move outside of your country in the comments.
