Yahoo Lifestyle Elle Fanning Goes Big on Style With Oversize Givenchy Look for ‘Predator: Badlands’ Presentation at CinemaCon 2025
Elle Fanning took classic black and white colorblocking and gave the style an edgy spin for her appearance at CinemaCon 2025 on Thursday in Las Vegas. The actress was on hand for the Walt Disney Studios presentation, promoting her upcoming film, “Predator: Badlands.”
For the industry event, Fanning opted for a look courtesy of Givenchy’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection from Sarah Burton. The look featured an oversize white jacket with a sharp collar, long sleeves and buttons running down the front placket.

Fanning wore a white shirt beneath the boxy button down. As for the trousers, the actress’ look included wide-leg black pants with a certain sheen that gave the fabric a shiny quality under the lights as Fanning took the CinemaCon 2025 stage.
The actress kept the rest of her look fairly minimalist, opting for a sleek, modern style without fuss. Fanning’s blond hair was styled with a side part and worn straight and down. Her makeup included a clean aesthetic for a refined, seamless finish.
Fanning’s CinemaCon 2025 look made its runway debut as part of Paris Fashion Week last March. Givenchy’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection marked designer Sarah Burton’s first as creative director of the French luxury fashion house. Her appointment was announced in September 2024.
Burton returned to the Givenchy archives for inspiration for the collection, with an emphasis on silhouette and cut. “Making her debut at the storied French house after spending her entire fashion career at Alexander McQueen, Burton nailed it with an exhilarating display of new silhouettes, including dramatic hourglass coats and jackets, geometric babydolls and austere gowns whereby a triangle or square of leather descends from the throat,” Miles Socha wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
CinemaCon 2025 was held from March 31 to Thursday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and marked the 13th annual gathering of the global motion picture theater industry. Organized by Cinema United, this premier convention brought together theater owners, distributors, exhibitors, filmmakers and industry professionals from more than 80 countries.
