Elizabeth Debicki looked poised and perfect on the red carpet at the 75th Emmy Awards.

The actress attended Hollywood’s big night on Monday, Jan. 15—held at the Peacock Theatre—in a stunning custom couture Dior gown in a regal burgundy color.

In addition to the velvet material, the dress also featured a backless drape, which Debicki said she was "very blessed to wear."

Everything about her look was fit for a royal, which makes sense considering her style is often inspired by the late Princess Diana’s fashion and adopted from some of her most popular looks. When asked about being influenced by the royal, she told E! News, "I could only hope to be nearly as iconic as Diana since she was the queen of fashion."

The 33-year-old earned her very first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series after her flawless portrayal of the people’s princess in the Netflix drama, The Crown.

She called the role "the greatest gift as an actor," adding that "being sort of close to the spirit of the person I’m embodying, the light at the center of that person, that kind of luminous soul, has been a gift to be near."

"I learned a lot about love and what’s important and connecting with people because her capacity to do that was by none the greatest," she told interviewer Laverne Cox

Aside from Debicki, Rhea Seehorn from Better Call Saul and J. Smith Cameron from Succession, the other 5 nominations in the category all hail from The White Lotus, with Jennifer Coolidge, Meghann Fahy, Sabrina Impacciatore, Aubrey Plaza and Simona Tabasco all up for an award.

The Crown, which wrapped up its sixth and final season in November, is also up for one another award in the Outstanding Drama Series category.

Season 6 of the fictional dramatization of the royal family touched on Princess Diana’s tragic death, the beginnings of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s romance, and King Charles’ wedding to later Queen Camilla.

The series is no stranger to the Emmys having a total of 69 nominations, along with 21 wins—for now—under its belt.

Debicki is an award-season favorite, with her work most recently recognized during the 2024 Critics Choice Awards as she took home the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series trophy for The Crown.
