$18.50 Aussie 'miracle product' clears woman's eczema in weeks
A woman has hailed an $18.50 cream as ‘miracle’ product after she claims it cleared up her severe eczema.
With cracked eyelids and her hair falling out, Sophie Hall, 24, says she was 'losing hope' as she battled against her painful skin.
What initially started off as eczema on her face then went on to include patches of inflamed, itchy skin across Sophie’s body including her elbows, knees and ears.
"I looked like I had been tied to the back of a car and dragged around,” the talent management specialist said.
“It started mainly on my face. I was so desperate to get something to stop the incessant itching. I have always had eczema but couldn’t work out what caused this flare-up and it was all over my body rather than the usual spots. So I went to see my doctor.”

“I was desperate to avoid steroid creams and see if I could find a natural alternative but I had no idea where to start.”
Sophie's eczema was all over her body, from her scalp to toes.
"Oral Steroids, antibiotics, scalp shampoos, steroid creams just left me worse and worse and in rebound mode in the revolving door syndrome that eczema sufferers know so well,” she said.
“My eyelids were cracked and sore, my whole face was swollen from steroid ingestion, and I was absolutely losing hope.”
Sophie said while she’s always had sensitive skin, she has no idea what caused her skin to become so inflamed.
"I had allergy and blood tests done privately to see if I could get to the bottom of it but it came back to say I had no allergies other than dogs which I was already aware of, and no sensitivities,” she said.
After desperately searching for something to stop the itch, she came across her saviour, MooGoo Eczema & Psoriasis Cream.
MooGoo is an Australian skincare brand that specialises in natural products for skin and scalp problems.
Sensitive Skin Balm sells one product every 1.5 minutes and is hailed by many eczema sufferers around the world as a hero product.
It contains all natural ingredients including sweet almond oil, olive oil and aloe vera.
“I used one tube of MooGoo alongside my emollient and within three weeks my skin had cleared up,” Sophie said.
“My skin looks radiant, feels moisturised, and is far less itchy.”
MooGoo CEO Melody Livingstone said the business has seen a marked rise in sales since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Since March our online sales across the board in Australia and the UK, are also up more than 80 percent,” she said.
“We have had a lot of people come to us looking for relief for skin problems, mostly caused by continuous washing of hands or using harsh anti-bacterial hand sanitisers.
“There is also a lot of anxiety surrounding the pandemic, which seems to have increased eczema, psoriasis and other skin flare ups."
