Good news for Sydneysiders and Melburnians stuck at home with terrible hair; Dyson’s highly rated stylers and hair dryers are on sale today.

Adore Beauty is taking 15 percent off its range of Dyson tools for a very limited time, meaning that today you can get $119 off the Airwrap all in one dryer, straightener and curler, $105 off the Corrale straightener and $90 off the Supersonic hair dryer.

While this is particularly welcome news for those of us in lockdown and counting down the days til we can see a hairdresser, the sale is Australia wide, you just need to enter the code ‘DYSON15’ at checkout.

Unfortunately, it’s a flash sale and it ends tonight (Tuesday, October 5) at midnight.

Dyson flash sale: Airwrap styler/dryer

The Airwrap is the most expensive of the Dyson styling range, and while at first glance it looks like a simple hair curler, it’s something a little more sophisticated than that.

This styling tool is a cross between the hot brush that’s gone viral on TikTok and a curling wand. You use it on wet hair and it dries and styles at the same time, giving you that fresh-from-the-salon blow dry look at home.

There are multiple heads depending on how you want to style your hair, including a round brush to add volume to your roots, a flat brush for a smooth and straight blow dry, and a curling tong for beachy waves.

Reviewers say that while the attachment for straight hair is very easy to use, it can take a bit of practice to get the hang of the curler.

The Airwrap also comes with an oval-shaped drying head that functions in a very similar way to the Supersonic hair dryer and is designed to bring your hair from wet to damp before you switch to one of the styling heads.

Of course it wouldn’t be a Dyson without some cool tech features, and this styler has an in-built sensor that measures the air temperature 40 times a second to ensure it never goes over 150°C to prevent any heat damage to your hair.

It uses high pressure and high speed air flow rather than super high temperature to style hair.

Despite the steep price tag, the reviews for the Airwrap are positive, with one shopper saying, “Gives you big bouncy curls and cuts styling time in half! It seriously is amazing and have had strangers come up to me asking if I had my hair done!”

“I use it every time I wash my hair, and it gives me a perfect blow wave. Takes time to get the hang of it but once you do it’s super quick and easy.”

The Airwrap comes in two sizes, the original and a longer barrel version that’s designed for people with long hair.

Instead of the RRP of $799, Adore Beauty is selling the Airwrap and long barrel Airwrap for $679 today with the code DYSON15.

Dyson Supersonic hair dryer and Corrale hair straighter

Adore Beauty’s flash sale also includes the popular Supersonic hair dryer which is going for $509 instead of $599 today.

This reimagining of the standard hair dryer is designed to give you a smooth, blow dry without any heat damage.

Much like the Airwrap, it comes with ‘anti-flyaway’ and ‘styling concentrator’ attachment heads to help you style your hair as you dry it, as well as a diffuser for naturally curly hair.

Meanwhile, the Dyson Corrale hair straighter is a cordless straightener with flexing plates made of a manganese copper alloy and are designed to minimise hair damage.
