Dunkin’s New Summer Menu Features a First-of-Its-Kind Donut

In our world, nothing signals a change of season like Dunkin’s new menu roll-outs. November’s Spiced Cookie Coffee told us winter was coming, while February’s Churro Signature Latte coaxed us out of hibernation. Now, the newest menu has arrived, and it’s welcoming the summer sunshine with bright new flavors we’ve never seen on the menu—or in a donut—before.

We’ve seen blueberry, strawberry, even mango donuts come through Dunkin’ shops before, but never have we ever seen a watermelon donut—that is, until now.

Dunkin’ just launched a brand-new Watermelon Burst Donut that captures ”the essence of summer,” in a baked treat, according to a press release. The pastry has a cool and refreshing watermelon-flavored jam filling (seedless, we hope) and a sweet red sugar coating. Fans have mixed feelings about this fruity flavor pick, but although some feel like it’s “giving bath bomb,” most commenters on social media are willing to give it a chance.

“I am definitely going to try this new watermelon donut,” one shared. “So cool.”

And don’t worry, the summer fun at Dunkin’ doesn’t stop there.

Dunkin’s New Summer Drink Menu

Dunkin’ is already predicting summer 2024 will be a hot one, so they’re offering three refreshers to help us beat the heat. The Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher and Mango Pineapple Refresher are returning to the menu, while the ​​Kiwi Watermelon Refresher is making its grand debut.

“The kiwi watermelon is gonna be a staple this summer!,” declared one fan. “I just know I'm gonna drink my weight in the new refresher every week,” admitted another.

Next up, Dunkin’s fan-favorite lemonade is back on the scene, but the real news is that now, it’s sticking around.

As for the new coffee offerings, Dunkin’ is turning two of its most beloved donuts into new coffeeshop favorites with the Blueberry Donut Iced Coffee and Vanilla Frosted Donut Signature Latte. Fans (us included) can’t decide which one we want more.

And for even more drinkable donut fun, Dunkin’ is launching a brand-new Donut Swirl that can add sweet, creamy flavor to any coffee beverage, “bringing notes of vanilla frosting, pastry and donut sugar into every sip,” the press release states. The Donut Swirl will be mixed into the two seasonal coffee drinks as well.

Dunkin’s New Summer Food Menu

The new Green Goddess Wrap is the heartiest addition to the food menu, featuring scrambled egg whites, farro, sundried tomatoes, spinach, crumbled feta cheese, and green goddess sauce wrapped in a verdant green lavash bread. It has the same feel as a signature Starbucks favorite, making it another great grab-and-go lunch option for beach or travel days.

Finally, a classic bakery favorite is coming back to the menu: the Chocolate Chunk Cookie. But this time, it ”caters to both sweet and savory tastes, combining flavorful chunks and morsels of chocolate, pretzel bits and savory brown butter notes,” according to the press release. Regardless, fans think it looks as spectacular as ever.

“Omg I'm excited for the cookie. They had cookies back in the day and they were the best cookies I ever had,” one user shared.

This seasonal Dunkin’ menu has something for everyone, even Dunkin’s closest competition. “As a Starbucks barista I AM EXCITED FOR THIS,” one user raved.
